CKC Registered golden retriever breeder
Molly is very mothering, has an athletic build, loves agility and retrieving. Her dark golden coat is shorter, but is thick and very soft. easy to maintain.
this will be Molly's first litter with Ryder, which is a very exciting litter. these puppies will be active, loving, very willing with an exemplary temperament. Some of Molly's past puppies are working in the therapy field, having fun with agility and are working alongside their hunting families. All are treasured companions.
❤️
I am very much looking forward to this pairing
Shotgun Ryder, always ready to go. He supports an athletic build and is a stunning example of the Golden Retriever measuring at 23.5" at the shoulder and weighing in at 68 lbs. He supports a gorgeous, thick dark golden red coat. Ryder lives life fully and enjoys every minute. Is excellent with retrieval, loves the water and agility. When in the house, he is able to switch off and just be. His temperament is exemplary.
I expect puppies from Ryder will be athletic, willing, intelligent and loving companions. All will be capable of all that the breed is known for!
Our litters are planned carefully and are reared naturally for true health, temperament and workability. We will do everything we can to give them their best start before they are brought into your lives and homes.
Each pup will be temperament tested to determine energy levels, social interaction, retrieval skills and more. We also will begin exposing them to daily experiences (socializing). Once your puppy goes home with you, we expect you to continue with training, socializing, obedience and more.
We are a committed, responsible and registered breeder, and as such, we only plan 1-2 litters a year following CKC guidelines, breeding with love for temperament, intelligence, health and workability. This combination makes for excellent companions as well as various other purposes for which this breed is known for.
We will be happy to help on the process of selecting a Gentrice Goldens puppy that is right for you and your family.
Limited reservations will be accepted. Please contact us to discuss our puppy plans and if one of our puppies will be a right fit for you, your family and lifestyle.
What does "Health Guarantee" truly mean, what does it cover, and how can you actually "guarantee health"? Most of us know that. there are no guarantees of good health. not in humans, not in dogs. In short, you can't... we can't!
Anyone who owns or has done their research on a golden. knows and are accepting of the health risks associated with this breed.
When researching breeders, buyers should be concerned with finding those who take steps to limit the risk of problems and who are doing what they can to minimize these chances. All our Goldens have been OFA cleared for eyes & heart defects. they also have been x-rayed for elbow and hip dysplasia . You can find our dogs and results of these tests on K-9 data.
Our puppies will be vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed. We will begin the socialization process and expose the puppies to many new sights and sounds. As a new owner I advise you to take your new pup to your own vet to be examined within the first few days of your taking him/her home. Double check for any defects (ie: heart murmur) - this will protect you, the pup and the breeder. This is also excellent exposure for your pup.
Once he/she begins its new life with you, the choices you make for your pup regarding diet, exercise, exposure to items both inside and outside the home and environment, vaccinations, living conditions etc. all play a part in how your pup grows physically, mentally, and emotionally. These all will, in part, affect the health of your pup.
If at some point, you are no longer able to care for your golden, please contact me first, no matter what the reason!
If you feel a Gentrice Goldens pup is right for you and your family, Get in touch with me! I will send out our puppy questionnaire for you to complete and return back to me. This will not guarantee you a pup, but will put you on a list.
When I have plans for breeding, I will accept a limited number of applications per dam. A $250 non-refundable deposit will hold your place in line for choosing a puppy (with my assistance). A request for another $250 will be asked for upon verification of pregnancy.
This $500 will go toward the purchase price.
If I don't have enough puppies, or the right sex, the $ will roll over to the next litter.
If, once the puppies are born and you simply change your mind, the deposit is not refundable. The balance will be due when your pup turns 6 weeks old.
I will also be asking for a couple references as well as a reference from your vet (if you have one from vetting your past or present pets
I am constantly taking pictures now, just you wait!
I will be in touch with updates, exciting news, vet appointments and everything in between. I want you to be a part of the whole experience too.
For the safety of the puppies, home visits will not be allowed until they are much older. At which time, if you want to visit, arrangements can be made. I will not be making any decisions as to which pup will go to which home until after 6 weeks old, maybe even closer to 7 weeks old. There are many things to consider from personalities, confidence, drive, energy, and the list goes on. Each pup will be temperament tested and will be exposed to many different things. From the way they react, recover, and experience these sessions will determine what family they will be placed with. This is why it is very important for me to get to know you as best as I can. But don't worry, you will also be a part of the selection process!
Registered (limited) with the Canadian Kennel Club, will go home having had a veterinary health check, 1st set of vaccinations, dewormed at 4, 6 & 8 weeks old and microchipped. Mothers and puppies, both will be on NuVet Plus to help with their immune systems and overall health. I strongly ask that you continue with this supplement to help with the transition from my home to yours. more information and ordering is on the "NuVet Supplement" page above.
Puppies should be a medium to dark gold colour. You will receive a puppy package, a health record, and life time support.
We will not have dew claws removed.
Gentrice Goldens has selected parents who have passed genetic health clearances (cerf) whose pedigrees come from generations of carefully selected pedigrees. Many thanks to those breeders who have come before myself, who have worked tirelessly to produce healthy Goldens thru specific selective breeding programs.
As such, our aim as responsible breeders, breed to produce litters that are beautiful, confident, healthy, & friendly with a well balanced personality and drive, and have pedigrees with generations of genetic soundness.
